Custom Software Development Company in the UAE
Looking for a custom software development company UAE teams can work with through almost the whole of their working day? BinaryBrill is a software engineering consultancy with 45+ senior, in-house engineers. We build custom software for businesses that have outgrown off-the-shelf tools, and we never subcontract the work.
Our engineering centre is in Mohali, Punjab, India, and delivery is remote. We have no office in the UAE. What we offer is a team that overlaps with your day, has built a bilingual Arabic and English storefront for a client in the Gulf region, and can take on Odoo and ERP work, integrations and AI automation.
A senior engineer replies within 24 hours, not a sales rep.
Custom software development company UAE: who it is for
Our clients are startups and established companies that have reached the edge of packaged software. In the UAE that often means a trading firm with stock in one tool and invoices in another, a property business tracking leads in a spreadsheet, or a logistics operator re-typing shipment details between systems.
Custom software is not always the answer. If an off-the-shelf product covers most of what you need, we will say so. We build when your process is what makes the business different, when several systems must work as one, or when customers expect a properly bilingual Arabic and English experience.
Why UAE companies work with an engineering team in India
The first reason is skills. A team that already works together can field architects, backend and frontend engineers, mobile developers, data engineers and DevOps from day one. Assembling that mix through local recruitment takes time, and a project with a defined end does not always justify permanent hires.
The second is the clock. The UAE is 1.5 hours behind IST, so you share about 09:00 to 16:30 GST with our engineers, which is 10:30 to 18:00 IST. That is nearly the whole working day. Ask a question in the morning and settle it before lunch.
Remote has a cost. Nobody is in the room with you. We make up for it with a working demo every two weeks, documentation written as we go, and a senior engineer on the calls. The people who demo your sprint wrote the code.
What we build
- Custom software development: systems shaped around how your business runs, from internal tools to customer platforms.
- Odoo development: custom modules, workflow changes and data migration for companies on Odoo.
- Custom ERP development: when an existing ERP is too rigid, we build the parts that fit your operation.
- CRM development: sales systems that match how your team really follows up.
- Web application development: portals, dashboards and storefronts, with Arabic right-to-left layouts designed in.
- Chatbot development: assistants that answer questions from your own data.
We also build SaaS products, AI and LLM applications, agents, data and BI, cloud and DevOps, dedicated teams and white-label software. See our services page and portfolio.
Cities we serve in UAE
Dubai
Trading, real estate and logistics firms tend to need joined-up systems and clear answers on free-zone data rules. Our Dubai page covers those and Odoo and ERP rollouts.
Abu Dhabi
We work with Abu Dhabi teams remotely, on the same hours as the rest of the UAE. If your company sits in ADGM, we plan for its own data protection rules from the start.
Industries we work with in UAE
We publish one Gulf region client, NIC Paints, below. This is what each sector usually needs.
Trading and distribution
Stock, pricing and invoicing often sit in separate tools. We would map order-to-cash first, then choose between an Odoo or ERP build and integrations.
Real estate
Enquiries, viewings, contracts and payments pass through many hands. We would start with the lead flow, where follow-up usually gets dropped.
Logistics
Teams usually need one view of shipment status, clean hand-offs and links to carrier systems through their APIs, where those exist.
Retail and e-commerce
Bilingual storefronts, local payment gateways and stock that matches the back office. The NIC Paints work below sits here.
Hospitality
Bookings, guest requests and rosters must join up with the front desk's tools. We would fix the costliest hand-over first.
Manufacturing
Production planning, inventory and quality records, plus a way to sell. Many manufacturers need ERP and a customer-facing channel together.
How we work across time zones
| GST (UAE) | IST (India) | |
|---|---|---|
| Shared working window | About 09:00 to 16:30 | 10:30 to 18:00 |
| Offset | 1.5 hours behind IST | 1.5 hours ahead of GST |
| Sprint demo | Inside the shared window | Inside the shared window |
Work runs in two-week sprints, each ending with a working demo, not a slide deck. The UAE weekend is Saturday to Sunday, and we plan around your working week.
Integrations with the tools UAE businesses use
- Odoo: custom modules, and connections to other systems through its APIs.
- Zoho: your software and Zoho apps exchange data through Zoho's APIs.
- SAP Business One and Microsoft Dynamics 365: integration through their APIs, usually to feed or read a system you do not want to replace.
- UAE payment gateways, such as Network International and Telr: integrations go through their APIs. This is engineering work, with no partnership claim.
- Arabic right-to-left interfaces: layouts mirror, mixed Arabic and English text must sit correctly, and forms and tables need care. We design for this at the start.
We read each tool's API documentation first, and tell you early if its limits will shape the design.
Data protection and compliance
The UAE has a federal personal data protection law, the PDPL (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021). The DIFC and ADGM free zones have their own data protection rules. Which applies depends on where your company is set up.
In the build, we would keep each feature to the personal data it needs and design access by role. When data must stay in the country, we can host in a UAE cloud region.
We claim no certification, and your own legal adviser confirms the legal position. We build what they specify.
Recent work: a bilingual storefront in the Gulf region
National Industries Company sells paints and coatings under the NIC Paints brand through a direct-to-customer online store. It runs in Arabic and English and serves customers across the Gulf region from a single catalogue.
The build has a bilingual interface, category-based browsing and search, and direct online ordering. NIC is a client in the Gulf region. Read the NIC Paints case study or browse our portfolio.
Engagement models and pricing
We start with a short paid discovery that turns your problem into a defined scope, then give you a fixed scope and a fixed price. We publish no price list, because an honest number needs a scope first.
Work then runs in two-week sprints. For an ongoing need we can supply a dedicated team, or stay on for support. The handover is documented, and you own all code, IP, documentation and pipelines from day one.
FAQs
How much does custom software development cost for a UAE business?
It depends on scope, so we publish no price list. A short paid discovery defines the work, and then you get a fixed scope and a fixed price.
How do you work with UAE teams across time zones?
The UAE is 1.5 hours behind IST, so we share about 09:00 to 16:30 GST. Meetings and sprint demos happen in that window, around your Saturday to Sunday weekend.
Can you integrate with the tools we already use, such as Odoo or Zoho?
Yes. We connect to Odoo, Zoho, SAP Business One and Microsoft Dynamics 365 through their APIs. We check what each API allows first, and we make no partnership claims.
How do you handle data protection and privacy law in UAE?
The UAE has the PDPL (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021), and the DIFC and ADGM free zones have their own rules. When data must stay in the country, we can host in a UAE cloud region. Your own legal adviser confirms the legal position.
Who owns the code and IP?
You do. The client owns all code, IP, documentation and pipelines from day one.
Do you have an office in UAE?
No. Delivery is remote from our engineering centre in Mohali (SAS Nagar), Punjab, India, through video calls, a shared channel and a live demo each sprint.
How soon will we see working software?
Each two-week sprint ends with a working demo, so you see running software from the first sprint. The paid discovery comes first and produces the scope.
